Also, please note that I get more emails related to the controversy regarding New York City game watches than any other location. The "official" watch is at Vertigo, but there are many other BC friendly bars, including Thunder Jackson's and Pat O'Briens. I am not picking favorites just relaying information. And if the game watch experience in Manhattan is so awful, how about jumping on a train or bus to Boston? You might have more fun.

17 gamewatches-- good sign. Last year there were usually around 10 for non-Notre Dame games.

Anyone been to Vertigo (is it decent?) My buddies live right nearby so we'll probably hit that up. I do like Patty O's even though their TV's stink.
Anyone know of anything going on in Baltimore?
Galvin - I went to Vertigo for the last game. On "Big Saturday" or whatever they were calling it with all the amazing games on, BC had all but 2 TVs in the whole bar. I think they have ND getting beat on one and I forget the other. They have 2 big projector screens and probably 10 or more other TVs throughout the place. Beer is cheap and it got crowded with BC fans quickly. I saw people I hadn't since graduation (or theirs). If the weather is nice they open up the outside walls like Roggies does. Great time, I highly recommend it.

V-Tech is giving up 130yds a game on the ground to schools that are not known for their rushing attacks. Hopefully the O-Line has their shit together for Montel tomorrow.
Also, very curious to see the receivers tomorrow. I hope the extra two weeks helped Shinskie get really on the same page with them. Also curious to find out if Philips is coming out or if he's gonna be redshirted.
We got destroyed by ND in 1992 and came back in 1993 at destroyed their national championship.
We need that kind of effort tomorrow, after getting destroyed by VT last year. Who will step up and make the plays tomorrow? We'll need many.
Go BC - Seize the Day - Beat VT.
Ok found my own answer in the Herald.
"True freshman wide receiver Alex Amidon, who missed almost all of training camp with a hamstring injury, showed enough in the bye week to put himself in the mix and could see some action tomorrow. Fellow freshman receiver Shakim Phillips missed a couple of days last week with a recurrence of a hamstring injury and will most likely redshirt. . . ."
Shanghai kellys is legit as fuck
