Some recruiting news and other links

It looks like it will come down to BC and Pitt for Pennsylvania prospect Brandon Clemons.

He committed a few days ago, but here is a story on future Eagle Victor Nelson.

Here is a breakdown of Castonzo's play. While they show a few rough moments against UNC from last year, I still think he holds up as a Top 10 pick.

Men's soccer beat BU Friday night.

Watching the first Castonzo clip (BC/FSU video), the thing that really amazes me is speed of Jeff Smith. That touchdown catch at around the 2min mark is unreal. Looks like everyone else is in slow motion.

Great to see that BC is ranked #5 in the country (option offenses excluded) in running the ball on first down. They run the ball on first down 76% of the time. No wonder why BC is hardly successful on these plays.

Coincidentally, 76% of Bravesbill's comments are about as negative as they come.

Btw: BC coaching alumnus Al Golden is doing a solid job with his Temple program, rolling UConn in convincing fashion today.

I love it when UConn loses, especially to Temple - even if it isn't the Temple of old.
