New looks for basketball uniforms and other links

The Under Armour team that designed the new basketball uniforms explained what they did for BC. I love the small details like the "Ever to Excell" stitching and the stained-glass inspired numbers.

If you want to get an early look at the basketball team, check out their open scrimmage Saturday morning.

Andy Katz has some quotes from Donahue at the ACC meetings.

The PAC 12 will hold their Championship Games on campus. Why didn't the ACC do this from the start?

There will be no names on the back of the Men's jerseys.

I like the new basketball unis. Very simple and clean. I'm very much so hoping that football gets a complete overhaul for next year.

I love the way the new unis incorporate the stained glass, "For Boston" and "Ever to Excel" in a subtle, classy way. Very cool. Now just live up to them! (I have a good feeling...)

For the ACC, I like the idea of playing the conference championship at home, only because we don't have suitable venue. Atlanta is the only worthwhile and easy-access city, but it's off limits b/c of the SEC AND because the runner-up would essentially be disqualified from the Peach bowl.

As for the Pac-12. They screwed up. Vegas was willing to host the game, which is central, easy to access, AND certain the perfect excuse for alumni's to host a boys weekend.
