In-game comments post: Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl
I really hope this is a special night. We've got a great group of seniors playing their final game and we have a chance to end a roller coaster season with a statement win. I think we will play very well, get some national attention and head into next year with a lot of optimism.

Nevada secondary has been allowed to play "hands on" all night, even when the defender does not look back. When you can play aggressive and not get called and you know it, it's hard for a team like BC to complete passes.
Once this game is over, I am officially boycotting BC football until Tran is fired.

There should be some clause in the contract with OC's that you have to produce at least 1 TD per quarter or you're gone at the end of the season. That's not asking too much, really. This year has been ridiculous. What a waste of a great defense.

Well, this game is over unless our D scores. This inept Tranq-fest is incapable of scoring 10 points. Best we can hope for is to close the gap to 3 points so it looks respectable and pray for a new offensive coach for next season.
But, here is a major question - is Spaz capable of hiring well? It's a skill that a lot of leaders don't have.

When Davies coached ND he was always a lock to mismanage the clock against BC with 2 minutes left and we beat him repeatedly...he does not like us--we sort of ruined his career.

BC has shut them down, because they don't play in the WAC. They have ACC caliber talent, which, while it isn't the best in the country, goes to my point that if Boise State or TCU played in the ACC, they wouldn't go undefeated.

Steve, TCU is ridiculous and the ACC is garbage. The MWC is pretty strong: has the best bowl record year in and year out. TCU could have gone undefeated in the ACC, probably not the SEC though.

Well, it's been a great season guys. I'm hitting the sack. I can't believe we have lost 3 bowl games in a row. I also can't believe we have to wait 8 months before BC takes the field again.

It's not good when you hear Pantale's name for the first time with only 5 minutes left in the game.
I never said the ACC was good, but it's not garbage. No way TCU could go undefeated in the ACC. It's not about who you beat in a bowl game ( alot of good teams can knock off AG top teams in any given game) it's about who you play to get there

I predict that with a new OC who has cojones and smarts, we'll be in a BCS Bowl game in the next 2 years. We have a great team in the making...and we played a good team and kinda shut 'em down, even without an offense.

With the ridiculous amount of coshes fired/ jumping ship this season, there has to be a good OC out there for us. With all the pieces in place, our offense is basically a turnkey operation for anyone with half a brain. I mean jesus with our D all we need is someone to squeeze 3 tds/ game out of this Offense
