2. So Kevin Rogers goes from coaching Brett Favre to Chase Rettig. The former Vikings quarterback coach is the new Boston College offensive coordinator, a coup for the Eagles. Rogers knows the northeast -- he coached Marvin Graves and Donovan McNabb at Syracuse -- and he also coached at Notre Dame and Virginia Tech. If Rogers unlocks Rettig’s potential, Boston College will challenge Florida State and Clemson in the ACC Atlantic.
Charlie Davies going to DC Utd has completely gutted me. I will fondly remember his goal for the United States in Mexico City, but I won't cheer for him when he suits up for DC. On the other hand, ex-BC guy Sacir Hot, I will gladly cheer for.
Go BC Track! Amazing what scholarships to Boston College can do for athletic performance.
Would have liked to see Davies go to the Fire:)
"Before the accident, he was about to become a European star."
Even if he hadn't been injured, Europe's stars don't play in France. I hope Davies continues to improve, but I'd be stunned if he achieved EPL or La Liga success.
