Game Watches: BC vs Northwestern

A new season means some new locations for Game Watches. I didn't get all that many emails, so maybe the holiday weekend has the clubs waiting until next week. If you are part of a Alumni Chapter and looking for an event, Game Watches are usually a good call, especially if the game is on ESPNU or ESPN3.com. I never heard from anyone regarding the always political NYC watches. If you have news or updates, post it in the comments. Also, long time stalwarts in Washington, D.C. haven't sent me anything. I know they had location issues last year, so udpate the comments as needed. Please note that Denver has grown from someone's house to an official watch. Congrats to them. As of now it seems like Chicago still has the biggest crowds. LA has two locations and has some great deals on food and drinks.

As always, there are a bunch of game watches (for example, Philadelphia, Jersey City, others) posted on the BC alumni page: http://bc.edu/alumni/association/chapters.html

Persa may be out. Makes the Fletcher loss less of an issue. The true frosh gets the start.

Go Eagles!

By the way, BC grad Joe Tessitore getting the exciting call on the Baylor - TCU shootout tonight. He's a rising star at ESPN.

The Glen Rock Inn (Glen Rock, NJ) and Riviera's (Fairlawn, NJ) are good places to watch BC games in northern Bergen County NJ. Glen Rock, as many of you will recall, is the hometime of former Eagle WR Grant Adams, which helped create a strong following for BC in the town.
