I'll have grades and second viewing thoughts up late Sunday. I may have an anti-Spaz post before then.

No moral victories in Death Valley
Finally back from Clemson. My biggest takeaway from being there in person is how much these guys want to win and play better. The sideline celebration after our first score was like we had clinched the ACC Championship. The players are looking for anything positive. But it wasn't to be. Rettig was shaky early and once he settled down the line didn't do him any favors. I thought our game plan was way too conservative given the circumstances.

My heart just breaks for these kids (What can I say? I'm a mom.) The coaching staff is not doing right by them, or by any of us.
These are my thoughts exactly. My heart breaks for our players.
Our athletic director placing blame where deserved:
@BCGeneD Very impressive to see ALL Clemson fans in their seats 10 minutes before kickoff, in time for the National Anthem.
GDF sounds like a prissy schoolmarm. "Sit quietly, boys and girls, with your hands folded on your desks." Geez...
GDF is right about this. I travel to Alumni for a game each year and I am mystified that BC fans can't get their asses in their seats for kick-off. It is absolutely embarrassing. Our fan-base needs a serious education in how to give a team a home field advantage.
