BC basketball lost out on prime target Luke Fischer. The Wisconsin big man has decided to attend Indiana.
Former BC QB Justin Tuggle will play linebacker for Kansas State next season. He is third on the depth chart so LB might be the only way he sees the field.

Watched Giants v. Cowboys last night. The hero was Victor Cruz of the Giants, a recent UMass grad. How did BC miss out on him. Anyone know?
any word on luke's decision?
Haven't heard any feedback on Suntrup. Will he stay around?
eagle1 -- cruz is from new jersey so its not like he was right in BC's backyard. in addition to big east and ACC schools missing out on him, every NFL team passed on him in the draft. its safe to say cruz flew under everyone's radar.
really hope BC can pull out this game over URI.
Now that we have lost to URI in double overtime, buckle your seat belts for the upcoming worst stretch of loss margins in the history of BC Basketball.
I hope it ain’t so, but we’ve willingly maneuvered ourselves into a very bad situation.
Let’s hope some of these guys don’t quit rather than subjecting themselves to the coming humiliations.
I fear that we will be laughed at and mocked thanks to one Gene DeFilippo who doesn't care about anything but himself first.
He's too stupid to realize that what goes around comes around. Your day is coming, you stiff.
Someone has to be worse than URI

Thanks Gene. Ever to Excel - you stiff.
Anyone else would feel an obligation to resign with this kind of falloff.
"obligation to resign" is comical. we played with 5 freshman on the floor for the last like 6-8 minutes of regulation and most of both overtimes. we have talent but no leadership right now on the floor.
heckmann and anderson are both going to be very good players. clifford is having a great freshman yr when you compare his #'s to other softy 7 footers who needed to bulk up (roy hibbert, tyler zeller).
we came into this year knowing that we wouldn't make the NCAA tournament; lamenting a double OT loss and pondering whether donahue should resign is ridiculous.
we will be a top ACC team in 2 years.
El Miz - I'm talking about DeFilippo. I'm livid.
We knew we wouldn't make the NCAA Tournament? You have rose colored glasses on. What an understatement.
Have fun watching what's coming for the league games.
You're pretty optimistic about 2 years from now, but then again, the ACC is pathetic after UNC and Duke.
I don't follow basketball a lot, but watched a bit of this game; I was surprised at how many of the team members were skinny and baby-faced. Comes from having so many freshmen, I guess. Looked as if some more time in the weight room is in order.
John, what is you point? This is only the second year of the Coach O era and he has one of the youngest teams in college basketball. If things are still dismal in two years, then you can complain. My God, have a little patience and let the coach rebuild this team. He's a proven winner and has been to the Sweet Sixteen with an Ivy League team. Much different than Spaz who had never been a head coach and is a complete incompetent.
Really surprised about tuggle. Such a GREAT QB recruit by the all-knowing jags
Yeah, agree with eagleboston. It's not like this team is supposed to be good. It's certainly not Gene's fault that it isn't.
Walter -- agreed: GDF only takes credit for successes!
