Holding the game watch at Ducali is a resounding statement about how apathetic the shrinking fanbase for the BC football team has become. I like Ducali and it is a fun place but it is tiny compared to Jerry Remy's. At least hosting it at a small place like Ducali will make the small viewing crowd look bigger. Can 2007 be that long ago?
Ducali has the upside of being owned by a BC guy. I agree that it's too small for the crowds from say 2007, but I do like the idea of having a homebase manned by a fan.
I am not at all trying to disparage Ducali, I work near there and have had good meals there. I just wish BC football was compelling enough to require Boston BC gamewatches at a big venue.
