In their report on Mike Siravo heading to Temple, Philly.com also noted that former Temple Linebacker coach Sean McGowan would reunite with Addazio in Boston. BC has not made an official announcement. What I find curious about hiring McGowan is that Addazio could have hired him early on and chose not to. It was only after McGovern left that Addazio felt the need to add McGowan to the Defensive staff. In a way McGovan is the second staffer who Addazio initially passed over before bringing him on board at a later date (Washington being the other). You would hope that Addazio isn't settling.
McGowan's never worked at a BCS level, but he has solid experience in the north east. He should be a good addition to the staff.
Addazio still needs to add one more staffer. I am surprised and disappointed that it has taken this long. Every day we recruit without a full staff is another opportunity lost.

He has not been dazzling.
perhaps there is value in not rushing into guys who would turn out to be bad hires? at the same time, having less coaches to recruit when we are behind the 8 ball anyway is probably not helping the cause here.
when was the last time there was positive BC football/basketball news? like 2010?
How many of us would have been happy if we had been told ahead of time thatwe were getting the Temple coaching staff?
El Miz, I don't remember but it was probably $10-15 Million in salary ago.
I know this joke has been made many times over, but its worth repeating...
ATL should change the banner on this site to read "...capturing the lows of being a BC fan living 1,000 miles from Chestnut Hill."
Based on the performance of the hoop team the past few years and the Spaz debacle, my decision not to re-up with the Flynn Fund was the right call.
