Only one player from the Big 10 taken in the first round of the NFL draft. Conference USA, the MAC and the Big East surpassed the Big 10. 2. TOB had another QB drafted ( Glennon of NCST.). Along with Hasselback, Wilson and Ryan that makes four. Does any other college coach have more? Has any college coach produced better quality? 3. Hoping for the best for coach Z. Developing qbs is a must. If he's half as good as TOB BC will be in good shape.

Can the College Football Hall of Fame continue to exist without inducting Tom O'Brien? Wait. Is there even such a thing as the College Football Hall of Fame? If not, I know just the induction that will get that party started ... Tom O'Brien! And, since it's always better to have more than one guy in your Hall of Fame, why not induct Chet Gladchuk at the same time?

Am I getting this about right, Ned?

TOB is the winningest coach in BC history. Given the drama and decimation of the program following his departure, I have a new appreciation for the TOB era and I think the BC community needs to recognize his contribution. While I admit he plateaued at the end, what I loved about TOB is he almost always beat Notre Dame, he put a ton of guys in the NFL, he turned the program around after the disaster of Henning and he always won his bowl games. He was not perfect and he never won championships, but he did a lot for BC football.
