UConn (eh) and other links

Maybe I am alone in this, but I don't get the big deal about playing UConn in 2K Classic (Katz | Yahoo). I still hate the Huskies and think a football rivalry would be heated and useful to our schedule. But without Jim Calhoun, I just can't get worked up about UConn. He embodied so much of the bad blood and I just don't have the same animosity for Kevin Ollie. And since they are part of the left behinds in College Basketball, a win doesn't mean as much. Of course we better beat them.

Mike Morrissey had to walk-on at BC. His brother won't have that problem as he is getting a lot of attention (Rivals | Scout). BC is in his final three.

Castonzo and Cherilus are closer than ever in Indy.

Absolutely delusional...

Lets see...
3 National Championships in last 15 years, more than any other program.....
Your hate for Calhoun may be gone, but don't disrespect the program, we just won a National Title less than 3 years ago, when was BC even relevant?

Didn't know they taught Idiocracy over at Chestnut Hill, smh

Eagles fans may not like UConn but they are still an elite hoops program until their record proves otherwise. We should welcome the chance to play an OOC game against a great program. I would take every bit of the good and bad that Calhoun brought to his program at BC. I wish the eagles could be that good.

Calhoun was a skunk, and that hurt all perception of UCONN.

I think it's good for BC to get back on track playing them in basketball.

We can't improve and move forward until we can compete with the ACC elite and teams like UCONN.

BC does it right! The system is "deluded". Knute Rockne built it right from the beginning and then stole Leahy to keep it right. Once money came into the equation, many more "skunks" came out of the woodwork and infiltrated the NCAA. Recently a school was sanctioned for a female student using 20.00 worth of water to wash her car on campus. (pretty expensive water) A trustee at Auburn involved with the Cam Newton investigation received a one "BILLION dollar TARP payout and was indicted by the FBI.

Academic fraud. Postseason ban. Criminal behavior. Yeah, what's not to admire? Calhoun cheated. Winning by cutting corners...definitely worth your integrity.
