Important game for the team tonight. With the goal of bowl eligibility a loss could be problematic. Having to face USC, FSU, UNC and Clemson in the weeks ahead getting to six may require running the table in the last three. At home vs NCST and on the road vs Syracuse and Maryland. A win tonight could give some wiggle room and confidence. WF appears to be about the same size as Nova on defense but certainly will be more skilled. It will be interesting to see if the same offense is employed ( Power I and flanker screens). When Tedesco was interviewed he claimed the practices showed that offense on a regular basis. This is a similar style to what was run at Fla. when Tebow was there. Force the D to put eight in the box to stop the run and leave your wide outs in man coverage or double cover the receivers and leave fewer to stop the run. You need several quality flankers to execute this. Hopefully BC has them. Final Score BC 26 Wake 17.
agree Ned - tonight's game has some major implications for the rest of the season. schedule gets very hard, and having the 2nd win before going on that run through USC, FSU, Clemson will be nice.
Amidon has the speed and ability to burn his man when left in single coverage. if they stack the box i hope to see some more big plays from him.
