For those there: how is the weather?
Sunny and warm at the moment - zero wind right now.
Looks like a small crowd day, unfortunately.
Red Sox playoff game at 5:30 equals no BC coverage or very little.
Howell is our best punter - in practice anyway.
Kimble is practicing. Army in all white with black trim.
We are practicing 40 yard passes to the endzone just before the pre-game break.

i'm surprised Kimble is practicing. i haven't heard much about him and was wondering if he'd get a medical red shirt for this year. a Williams-Kimble-Willis rotation would be interesting.

This has been too easy for Army.
The local alumni really piss me off. Get out and support this team! The Red Sox don't play until well after this game is finished. Big Jack, I applaud you for traveling all the way from the Carolinas for this game. It's a shame the people living 10 miles away don't exhibit the same support.

Spaz defense today - bad news

My streaming is surprisingly very good today.
Not liking the way the BC defensive front is getting pushed around. Spaz's recruiting focus must be on getting better defenders.
Well, neither defense can stop the other
This is terrible. I understand assignment football against the option, but someone has got to make a big play. Army is moving it at will.
Ramsey is needed instead of standing on the sideline with his helmet off.
Coach Brown is a no show so far. D is incapable of stopping Army at this point.
The offense is doing its job. No complaints there. Now it is on the D.
I can see williams playing on sundays
That was finally a drive where were played well and overpowered them.
Finally got a stop. The good news is they cannot stop our offense.
Do we have any impact receivers coming next year?? THats one area that we cant ever recruit
Can Andre Williams play Army every week?
Andre Williams is the biggest threat to our defense. They're going to ask him to take a knee after gaining 10 yards just so they can get a breather.
Andre is a man. he looks like a totally different back. legit NFL prospect. hopefully Coach Brown can figure out how to stop the triple option and we can cruise to an easy W
FSU beating Maryland 35-0. did we wake up FSU, or can we compete with Maryland?

That is some absolutely terrible clock management. Daz should have called timeout immediately on the 3rd down stop. And they need to move with some urgency.

That was frustrating time management at the end of the half, but is anyone else just delighted that we did not take a knee and actually went for it? We all need to appreciate this new era where 48 seconds is an opportunity, not just a way to get into the locker room quicker.
The D seems to be adjusting.
Unlike last week
Maryland down by 42 to Florida State. Did State improve that much in one week, or are we perhaps better than we thought?
Willis is a weapon on the kick returns. the first time he ever returned kicks was last week. reminds me of a more versatile Jeff Smith (who remembers him?).

eagle boston -- i think its a bit of both. we played a good game against FSU, and they are playing better this week.
They are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Emerald Isle Classic (even though the game was played in November). I remember waking up early to watch the game on ESPN. My future wife was a BC flag girl (I guess the PC term is color guard) and after a BC touchdown, they filmed her dancing with some other members of her squad in the endzone. I believe it was the first college game played in Europe. It was a dark era for BC football, so it was a bowl game atmosphere.
Who is the color commentator? He is actually pretty good for ESPN3 but not sure about the bald pony tail look.

This defense is scary bad today - really miss Mehdi and Kaleb apparently has the day off. Our interior line is not up to the task.

With our Shit defense, BC needs to score on every possession. Rettig needs to step up his play. We need more downfield passing to get their D out of the box.

My stream just went blue screen of death and now there is a message saying ESPN3 is experiencing technical difficulties.
Spiffy did not drop the pass. Rettig under-threw the pass and it was knocked down at the goal line by an Army defender.

Based on the post game interview, I don't think Daz was aware of the rushing record and how close Williams was to the record.
Even if Addazio didn't know our record, Ryan Day should have had an idea since he was here to see Montel vs NCSU.
If Rettig can throw a few accurate passes, Andre can run all day...I want to believe...
