Andre at ESPN

As part of his Heisman campaign, Andre Williams spent most of Thursday on various ESPN platforms. He took part in shows, SportsCenter, podcasts and radio. These sort of things are not as easy as they look, but Williams handled himself very well. Given his humble nature, I don't know if Williams will ever be a media star, but he's clearly got a good head on his shoulders. We are very lucky to have him representing BC.

Andre made us all proud, as usual. He would be the best possible standard bearer for the Heisman Trophy: "...the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity."

@dixieeagle: So are you telling me that Famous Jameous does not have similar credentials? The story of his stealing soda in ketchup cups at Burgher King and shooting windows out with BB guns are as exaggerated as the charges made against him by a "wild eyed" woman. So, what does BC have to offer that Florida State doesn't? Who has more fans?

JBQ: Call me skeptical, to say the least. Perhaps it's my innate suspicion of the Criminoles.

Let's not through disparaging comments at people who claim they've been victims of sexual assault, JBQ.

What an amazing interview. He's a real gentleman. Proud to be a BC alum today. Much prouder than if we were going to a BCS bowl. What a guy. I hope we can recruit classes full of Andre Williamses. Just phenomenal.

Well, I think we just witnessed the best of what college football represents. What a terrific representative of the University and and class act. We need more of these stories and fewer of the misdeeds of the "dumb jocks."

Quiet, self effacing, intelectual, how refreshing, Also juding from his straight arm against MD. a better one than the trophy depicts. JBQ are u sure there are no Andre's 6ft 8in. or taller? Or is there a corellation between tallness and lack of intelligence?

For some strange and difficult-to-believe reason, JBQ is convinced that his/her stuff is worth reading. Maybe he/she thinks that he/she is humorous. Well spoken stupid is more like it. Did well in writing, but flunked Analytical Thinking.
