Mixed night for Hockey

After a disastrous night Friday, the BC Men's team bounced back and evened their series with Notre Dame. Gaudreau led the way with two goals and two assists as BC beat the Irish 4-2. The teams will play Sunday afternoon to see who advances in the Hockey East Tournament.

The news wasn't as good for the BC Women. They lost to Clarkson 3-1. The loss eliminated the Eagles from the NCAA Tournament.

But the good news is that nothing official has been released about Steve Donahue. And the Women's Lacrosse team won again!

What is it with our women's hockey program? They have great regular seasons but never seem to have the mental toughness to bring home any trophies. Losing to BU in the HE tournament and then a first round elimination in the NCAA after an 18-2-1 conference record is very disappointing.

It useless to complain about the WOmen's Hockey team when Steve Donahue gets paid 1mm+ per year to deliver some of the worst records the Mens Basketball team has ever seen.

If The Boston Globe is writing about Steve Donahue then it must be bad. The article really hits the nail on the head.

Let's hope the powers that be pay attention to that article.

Finally an answer. I'll call the coach.

finesse power forward Ryan Anderson?

Sounds like an oxymoron to me. He's a power forward in name only, and ACC caliber IMO. Certainly no one should be worrying about what he will do in whether or not Onahue stays or goes.

I meant to say not ACC caliber in prior post
