Report: Donahue fired

Obviously we've seen various reports over the past few days. Official word will have to come from BC. Goodman is Boston based and has a good track record, so I do believe it.

I thank Donahue for his service and wish him luck.

Lets hope this dithering about has not cost BC a shot at the best available prospect for a new coach, whether it be Bruce Pearl or any of the other fine candidates mentioned over the last few weeks?

What was there to think about? It would have been kinder and more effective to gotten this done asap, the way Auburn did.

Now, please....full court pressure and "Run & Shoot" basketball would be welcome.

It is official... BC website just posted it.

How about waiting so that Jerry York would not have to put up with the distraction in the middle of the tournament?

Troll Joseph:

Jerry might welcome the distraction after being frustrated by Notre Dame. Lets hope we fare better in the Frozen Four.

Honestly, I can't see this affecting Jerry in the slightest. This had to be done, Brad did it and let's move on.

Troll LS. If you can read, take another look at what I actually posted. The tournament ended for BC last Sunday. Even you can understand that Sunday, last, was before today. Get it, troll? I know that you prefer personal attacks but, maybe you can try debating ideas for a change, or would that be too big a challenge?

This timing won't affect York, but just before and during the Hockey East it might have been a distraction to the team with the media all over it. Maybe, maybe not.

Joseph, your posts are complete gibberish. You can easily interpret your comment to mean that BC should wait until after the NCAA Hockey tournament to fire Donahue as LS pointed out. But troll away.

BB, great analytical work. Keep it up you'll be rewarded somewhere but not in this life. Interpret is very much like Assume and you know what that's all about from extensive prior experience.
