It was almost cliche watching BC make a few mistakes that allowed Maine to hang around into the second quarter. Fortunately we finally established the run and the defense tightened up and BC ran away with the game 40-10. At this point I am just glad our young team picked up another win. This will give the coaches plenty to focus on.
I will have second viewing thoughts and grades up late Sunday.

I didn't blog during the game, but the attendance was pathetic.
I like all of our freshmen for sure. A lot of good - basic - plays today.
We just wore Maine out, but I guarantee Spaziani wouldn't have beaten that team like we did today.
Daz didn't want to show too much to Colorado State today, so that was good.
Now if we could get some fans into the seats it would be nice. Pretty poor showing.
Go BC - Beat Colorado State.
Clemson being Clemson
That school is jinxed
I have been watching BC football since 1983. I have never seen a stable of running backs like we have now. BC has traditionally been a passing team going all the way back to Flutie, but I love this smashmouth football centered around the running game. We will have major issues if we have to come from behind, but I love the fact that we are going to punch teams in the face. Such a drastic change from the depressing Spaz era. Would he have gone for it 4 times on 4th down? Would he have kicked an on-side kick?
Thanks, Daz, for playing to win, bringing back O-line U, and giving us some hope for the future.
The difference between a good team and a great team will be Murphy's ability to pass. He looked better but his mechanics are still robotical. Tallahassee and Burt Reynolds await.
Is it crazy that we didn't redshirt any of these talented freshmen running backs? Do we really need five RBs capable of >100-yard games (plus Tyler Murphy)? Seems kind of foolish not to save a year of eligibility for later.
JBQ,
This is definitely not a great team. They lost to Pitt at home. Great teams do not do that. We are a decent team in the rebuilding phase. We have the potential for greatness in a couple years, but this is clearly not a great team and will struggle to be .500 in the ACC.
