Vegas win totals for BC and other FBS schools

Win totals bets have been out for BC and other programs for a little while, but I have not really looked at them since the end of Spring Ball and transfer season. At this point, Vegas has most of the information on the teams that they are going to get. The consensus on BC for 2016? 6.5 wins.

That number is pretty perfect to me. Obviously I want to take the over, but still feel BC will be around that area. The other thing I like about the number is that Vegas is throwing out last season and setting the number close to what Addazio achieved in his first two seasons. They see him as a 6.5 win coach. Now consistently winning at just above .500 is not ideal, but at least it is winning. I would demand a lot more, but getting to consistent winning is the first step in creating a better program.

We play 4 chumps next season in OOC games

So 6 wins means 2-6 in ACC play. Maybe beating Wake and Syracuse.

I forget where I saw the article, maybe ESPN, not sure, but it talked about our OOC schedule. While I agree that it was fun to see USC in Alumni and will be great to see other marquee names in the future WE PLAY FLORIDA STATE, CLEMSON, AND LOUISVILLE EVERY YEAR. Please keep this in perspective people. We are coming off a 3-9 season, I am perfectly okay with a cupcake OOC schedule to get us back to where we need to be.

Bah to the schedule. Aim higher. Expect more. This schedule is for the unconfident and weak (bates and Daz) to advance their own petty interests. Heck, even with extreme suckitude last year, we gave ND a challenge.

Our players came to BC to play ball - to be challenged. Not to appease the timid souls who run BC sports

When you read Daz vs David Cutcliffe's perspective You see who has stones and who does not.


Daz is a pathetic excuse maker who is already saying 2016 -year 4 - is more rebuilding. What a loser. He is justifying our OOC schedule - the worst in P5 land.

Doesn't this "worst in P5" bother anyone???. - worst offense. Worst passing. Worst schedule Worst recruiting. Worst record. Worst tailgating Worst Coach. Worst AD. Worst commenters (eg. Daz is ok. There were injuries. Spaz left cupboard bare. He needs time; be fair to Daz. He only makes $3,000,000)

I understand both sides of the argument. I just wonder what Daz would say were he the coach at, say, Ole Miss. I mean, besides "here's your check Laremy."

Prople criticize SEC teams for their OOC scheduling, yet can you imagine plaing Alabama, LSU, Miss St, Ark, Auburn?

The idea is to win a conference championship. If Daz and BB think this the way to go, they'll be judged accordingly. They'll feel the repercussions of any upset loss.

I've long held the view that we should be the "go anywhere, play anyone" team in order to build an identity. It's clear that Daz is the "we need 8 wins" kind of guy to do the same.

At some point, either way, you're going to have to beat Clemson and FSU. I think we're a little closer to doing that than most.

Shit i thought they were gonna lowball us to like a 5 game over/under because of last season, but it seems like they're spot on with this one.

This is a 6/7 win team, and I'll prob go with the over just because I'm a fan.

Who is the starting QB? How the fuck can the mooks in vegas set a line without knowing who the QB is going to be?

They will have 4 wins(UMASS, Fucking Wagner, Buffalo Wild Wings and Syracuse) max going into the last two weeks of the season against UCONN and Wake.

Vegas.
