A look a back at a previous trip to Lane Stadium

We could lose our next hundred games in Blacksburg and I would still remember this one first.

Look at how judicious BC was with the Timeouts that game.

(Thanks to the folks at EO for recirculating this again.)

Charles Dickens said it best. "It was the best of times. It was the worst of times". From happiness to sorrow. Jags did his dance and the love was flowing as he fell down with Matt. The team won on emotion and I still worry that Callender will drop the ball. He didn't and this was a zenith for BC football. Sadness followed and BC has still not recovered.

BC has had it's glorious victories. Unfortunately, the heartbreaks have far outnumbered these fleeting moments. A team that is always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Sigh.

Those were the days.

Do you think our receivers then were much better than out receivers now? I bet Logan would spring our guys loose today as well.

Let's go, BC coaches - give them a plan to win! Beat VT.

And all the miseries are self-inflicted; that makes it all the more sad. Don't know about Jags, but he showed us some happy times. Should have done everything in our power to keep Logan around.

Don't forget that Bud Foster's defense practiced against Scott Loefler's offense for 3 years.

Do you think VT will be able to prepare for a run up the middle?

This will be a perfect game for BC to mix it up, expand the playbook, and keep VT off balance.

Let's see how HC Addazio prepares his team for this big matchup. Will he give the team a plan to win? We ran off something like 56 plays against GT and 63 against UMASS (estimate). I think we need more against VT.

Go BC - beat VT
