Another camp prospect becomes a commitment

Some of Addazio's critics worry that he is reaching for recruits and are frustrated that we are not landing more high-profile players. The latest commitment Tyler Days won't change that opinion. The New York DB committed just after receiving an offer at camp this weekend. Days is so off the radar, he doesn't have a profile page on Rivals or 247 and his Scout page doesn't even reference any BC interest.

I am not as worried about Days. Supposedly he has interest and an offer from Syracuse. Plus, I really value BC's ability to assess players at their own camp. They know if his 40 times are real. They now know if he is coachable. Getting an offer out of camp at this stage in the process is not a bad thing. And if we are taking talent out of Syracuse's backyard, all the better.

Addazio has turned a few of his low profile recruits into impact players, so I will continue to give him room. Besides, by the time we know if Days can play, we will already know if Addazio is anything more than a 7-6 coach.

She does seem rather juvenile

I happen to agree with Anne Marie. Her manner may be controversial but she speaks the truth.

JBQ,
Her constant use of all caps is boorish and rediculous.

Congrats to Dumoulin on his 2nd Stanley Cup. Congrats to BC High's Mike Sullivan on his 2nd. Are the best pro and college hockey coaches both from the same high school? The same school the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs attended. Seems so.

What is truly boorish and ridiculous is the constant losing. The lack of concern is rather
appalling. Can you seriously believe the faux irish (ND) would tolerate such nonsense.
Losing constantly is disheartening if you give a damm.

Anne, we are all on the same page. Totally disqusted with the constant losing and our posts confirm that.
Thank you for no longer screaming.

This is fine. My concern is the offensive line.

The talent on the offensive line is lacking and so is the player development. The offensive line coach has not changed in years eventhough it is continually the weakest area of the program. I understand stubbornness, sticking to your guns, loyalty and professional development. That being said Dazzler needs to move his buddy Frye out of the o-line coaching role. Frye has been an absolute failure in that role. Given the track record that the University has had, as the largest Jesuit Catholic University in the United States, with producing NFL caliber lineman the fact that there has not been a "call" for Frye being removed/reassigned is absurd.

Agreed. Remember the days when BCs OL was known as "The Big Uglies.?

Agree with knuck - need better coaching and recruiting on the OL. They need to get into the bowels of Pennsylvania/West Virginia coal country maybe with the help of Chris Snee and find some big uglies with chips on their shoulders.
