What the pundits are saying about Isaac Yiadom

If Landry is a Day 1 lock and Moore might not get drafted, Isaac Yiadom seems somewhere in between. Everyone has him drafted. It is just a matter of where.

The NFL site has him as a 3rd rounder.

NFL Draft Scout loved what he did at the Senior Bowl and see him as a 3rd or 4th rounder.

NFL Next sees him as a 5th rounder.

Good for you, Isaac, and best of luck. Thanks for everything.

Oh boy - both Robinson and Bowman will declare for the draft and test the waters. They will not sign with agents to preserve their eligibility and keep open their options.

But what a blow if they are both gone!

I think the program will survive if just Robinson goes. BC should be a hot destination for the top grad transfers and we should be able to find someone to replace most of Robinson’s scoring punch. We may also still get Hawkins back, and it appears that’s his preference. If Bowman also leaves we may not win a game in the ACC next year

This is terrible. So disheartening after all the progress made.

They are both coming back. Lock.

Bowman doesn't yet project as a pick. I think he'll be back. Let's see if it looks like Robinson will go in the first round. If so, I think he'll be gone. Otherwise, he'll be back. Lots of underclassmen declare. Some good seniors are in the draft, plus the international players. Some of the underclassmen won't get drafted. Smart move by both of them to not hire an agent.

Next years class is significantly weaker. If Robinson bets on himself, he may be able to go top 15 next year instead of 28-35 this year

No agent. They declared together(peaked EaglesFan#1's interest) and neither is a guarantee to get drafted. They are keeping their options open. If they aren't both getting drafted then they are coming back.

Would like to see them more committed to the school.

If they leave they leave.

If they both leave it gives Jarmond an opening to hire a new HC.

I have a novel idea. How about recruiting REAL student-athletes who actually graduate. Perish the thought. Winning is everything.

My only problem with this situation with Robinson and Bowman (assuming it leads to their departure) is what it does to the colleges and head coaches in terms of planning and recruiting. Not sure how to fix it without a deeper dive but it seems the system is stacked disproportionately in favor of the players and the NBA. Wish it could be done in such a way with the NBA that if a kid declares, his college coach has plenty of time to find someone else to fill his scholarship. A kid should be able to declare - but he needs to shit or get off the pot within a very narrow window and once he declares he should be ineligible. Four years is not an eternity. The freshman rule should be scrapped. There is no involuntary servitude so any kid can leave - but it's all about the NBA. Colleges need to get out from subsidizing the NBA and functioning as a semi pro minor league. That's not their role and makes their tax exempt status even more of a joke.

Robinson is a gurantee to get picked. Bowman is not. Robinson will be at the very least a second round pick. If he gets a second round grade, it makes no sense for him to leave. Those guys all end up in the G League. Might as well stay another year and get a degree. SI’s latest mock has Robinson going 28th to the Nets

Believe the narrow window is 3 weeks.

The 9:10 comment completely ignored the post about Isaac Yiadom. A 2 star recruit from Worcester who is next in line of lowly "stared" high school recruits at Boston College who is going to the NFL. Which again completely nucs the comments incessant bullshit about the need for highly "stared" recruits.

Ryan Day in 2019.

You didn't place a "." at the end of the sentence. Hypocrite, wrong about recruiting and uneducated. You are a 0.

"very" wasn't capitalized. You get points deducted for that too. Looks like you stopped using them all together. Lazy shit for brains.

Loser.
