Just sharing some revenue and endowment numbers

As the debate rages on about BC's commitment to men's basketball (and sports in general), I wanted to refresh people's knowledge of where we stand on two key figures: endowment and sports revenue.

(I am focusing on Catholic colleges, since it is one of our unique selling points and many Catholic schools have proven they can sustain winning, national basketball programs.)

  • Boston College -- $2.31 billion
  • Georgetown -- $1.66 billion
  • Saint Louis -- $1.14 billion
  • Holy Cross -- $1.01 billion
  • Fordham -- $779 million
  • Loyola-Chicago -- $750 million
  • Villanova -- $711 million
  • Marquette -- $668 million
  • Depaul -- $595 million
  • Loyola-Marymount -- $450 million
  • Gonzaga -- $275 million
  • Seton Hall -- $242 million
  • Providence -- $213 million
