NC State-FSU
Who do we want to win? FSU
Why? Both teams are in our division and both could rep the division in the ACC Championship game, so we need both to lose a few more before the season is over. The reason we want FSU to win -- they already have one conference loss and we still get a chance to beat them. NC State has the head to head tie-breaker with us, so we need them to have at least one more loss than we’ll have.
Clemson-Wake Forest
Who do we want to win? Wake
Why? I think Clemson could finish the season with just one conference loss. Even with the tiebreaker in our favor, I think it would be a tough task for us to run the table too. A loss to Wake would keep us ahead of them in the division. And we get a chance to knock off Wake ourselves in a few weeks.
UNC-Miami
Who do we want to win? UNC
Why? We don’t play Carolina and they are not in our division. We do play Miami and we play them at a very convenient time – the end of the season. If Miami were to lose a few more times between now and then, there is a very good chance they will be in total sleepwalking mode by the time we face them.
Maryland-Georgia Tech
Who do we want to win? Georgia Tech
Why? Pretty simple. Maryland is in our division and Georgia Tech is not. A L for Maryland impacts our division standings. A Tech loss just hurts the ACC. We need Tech to win.
Virginia-East Carolina
Who do we want to win? Virginia.
Why? I am not an Al Groh fan, but we always want the ACC to look strong. Losing to East Carolina wouldn’t help the conference’s rep.
Duke-Alabama
Who do we want to win? Duke
Why? The ACC thing and also, wouldn’t it be nice to see the Dukies do something like this in Football?
This is hardly scientific. Ultimately BC needs to win to control its destiny. But a little help from other teams never hurts when you are talking post season placement.

I'm still rooting for State tonight. FSU and Clemson are the only two teams that will win the division with only one loss... I'd prefer FSU to get their 2 out of the way and make the division a free-for-all.
