USC game made official

Good get by the Herald's Steve Conroy as he confirmed that BC and USC locked in a two game series for 2013 and 2014. This is a great sign and shows that BC is willing to step up our out of conference slate. I also know that Jags wants to emulate many of the things USC is doing. No better way to do that than to take on the best. I cannot wait for this game.

This is awesome! I don't think BC is in the position of an early Florida State or a recent Fresno State of having to play anyone, anywhere, anytime, but playing out-of-conference big boys (besides UND) is great for program visibility. I am so excited for this, even if it six years away. And, fingers crossed, if BC could win one of those games...

Wow, what a great get by GDF & the Athletic Dept. That being said, a lot can happen in the time between now and then. Both at USC & here.

Here's hoping that Jags can get the program to the point where we can get past our history of midlevel bowls to the Top of the ACC and to compete with the big boys and hopefully take down SouthernCal when that series rolls around.

I bet this game gets played in Foxboro. It could be a good game to kick off the college football season.

I remember about 9 years ago GDF announcing that we were going to play a home and away vs. Tennessee in '07 and '08. What ever happened to that?
