With Jake Delhomme and David Carr both hurt, the Panthers might turn to Quinton Porter, currently on their practice squad, although they will likely try to sign a veteran QB

I know the second half of the season is going to tough (1-2 loses?), and perhaps the #4 ranking might be marginally inflated/opportunistic, but it is hard not to feel that this team is special.

As an aside, Student Pep Rally for the ND game this Tuesday at 6 on campus (though that probably means nothing to most).
