Morning links

Andre Callender has been the overlooked hero of the season. This article really paints a nice overall picture of the kid.

Here is an ACC preview from a new college basketball blog.

More on recruiting target Chris Hayden-Martin. Interesting that Rivals has him as a commit, yet he is telling the papers he's still looking. Gotta love those recruiting sites. At least he speaks highly of BC.

BC recruit Nick Clancy is not hedging. In the second bullet in this article he talks about the school and his reasons for choosing BC.

Reader Kevin L sent this link on the Heisman race.

JQ sent along this NYT article on former Eagle Pete Kendall.

Here is another podcast that had me on as a guest.

Many of you may have already read this, but for those who have not, I give you Jamie Silva the garbage picker. Interesting to say the least.

ESPN.com now also has Hayden-Martin as a BC commit. I don't how seriously to take the verbal yet because Hayden-Martin has already reneged on one. However, it's a good sign for the recruiting efforts and definitely needed with amount of CB talent and depth we'll be losing (Tribble, Morris, Sanni) at the end of this year..

Don't think the season we are having will help recruiting?

According to Clancy: "it was everything that Boston College has to offer. Boston College just felt like the best overall fit for me. I really looked hard at all of my options, and up and down no other school really compared to what Boston College has to offer. Boston College offers outstanding academics, plus they are the No. 2-ranked team in the country and they are competing for national championships. It's the best possible fit for me."

Nice! Go Eagles!
