Albright out and other weekend links

The lingering Albright rumors were confirmed: he's done for the year. He is hoping to get a medical redshirt. I assume that won't be a problem since he only played in 1.5 games. Wes Davis played in 2.5 games last year and still received a medical red shirt. Losing Albright hurts, but this is not a terrible thing. We have decent depth on the defensive front and his extended career helps BC in the long run. We'll be very young in 2010. Having Albright around for a fifth year makes that team a little more mature.

BC recruit Kyle Koehne enjoyed his trip to Boston, however, he is still waiting on an offer from Florida.

Patrick Muldoon and Luke Kuechly might be a package deal on the recruiting front. They both list BC high. (Thanks to Bill W. for the link.)

Note to New England shoppers: Flutie Flakes are back. It is cereal for a good cause.

The guys used the off week to refocus.

Here's more on Luke Russert's first professional work.

A Cleveland Cirle icon closed its doors this weekend. I know I saw many movies there while a BC student.

Crane reports a chemistry problem with receivers??? You mean like they are not superman and can not fly like a speeding bullet and jump building with a single bound?

No, the receivers are not elite but throwing the ball in the same zip code might be a way to start.
