"You had to be there"

The crowd looked great and sounded great and by all reports was great last night. Hopefully this win and this environment gets people on the bandwagon for the stretch run. We have some huge home games coming up and we need Conte crowded and loud.

Thanks to Chris for the pic.

There's something special about an on-campus sell out crowd and last second victory - fantastic.

Congratulations Boston College - let's keep this going.

Great job students. Lets keep it going for the rest of the year into March Madness.

There seems to be a positive trend in student attendance lately, even with the athletic department's weird student ticket policy.

With this momentum we've built there's potential to finish this season in a big way.

How often does a college boy call his mom? Hardly ever. Got a call last night after the game to tell me about it!

Video highlights anywhere?

go to ESPN360.com, you can watch as much of the game as you want.

I still don't understand how an ISP doesn't carry a website. I have Cox and they don't carry ESPN360. Comcast didn't either when I was in Boston. It's just a website. I'd like to use it. Stupid cable companies.

@ Claver

Great video, I actually got a decent amount of facetime during the crowd reaction shots.

I was at the game last night, the student section was the craziest I've seen it since my freshmen year when Craig Smith was still around. One part of the game that was overlooked was Tyler Roche's contribution. He came up huge in the first half when Trapani was in foul trouble, hitting a big three and grabbing tough boards. Great game by everyone all around.

Off topic but - Brian St. Pierre must have had a sickening deja vu on that play at the end of the first half of the Super Bowl.

Brian was driving the Eagles for the winning score against Miami in 2001 in the waning moments - when his game winning pass bounced off the receiver's (or someone's) leg and into the hands of the defender - who brought it back the length of the field. Brutal.

I'd say this - we had The U on the ropes and they were only saved by a fluke play.

By the way - Miami was the National Champ that year.

What a game this Superbowl turned out to be.

Thanks for bringing up that play. The sight of Ed Reed running 95 yards down the sideline still haunts my dreams over 7 years after it happened.

I wasn't thinking about Brian St Pierre or Ed Reed last night, but rather the time we kept Larry Fitzgerald in check for 3+ quarters, and he put the nail in our coffin with a late TD. He was going for a record for straight games with a TD, and we controlled him nearly the whole way until the end.
