BC Eagles hockey 2010 was great fun this year to watch--even though we didn't beat BU at the Fenway classic, it was clear that this team has guts, toughness, speed and smarts. The Beanpot and the Hockey East tourney showed why BC is going to give Miami Ohio more trouble than they can deal with. ATL is right on--this team has done all the things needed to roll it up. Now Coach York has BC ready to run the table--What a great way to forget about what the basketball team didn't do, or what Tiger's doing, or what BC shoulda coulda or do we wanna and only if...
The Boston College Eagles on Ice are Hot. They never quit. Enjoy these days in Detroit, Eagle Nation. Ever to Excel! GO BC Eagles! (Catch it on ESPN2HD tonight) Oh yeah.

6 -1 with 9 minutes left. None of us appreciate Jerry York, at least I don't. This guy peaks his team every year in March/April.

Win or lose the finals, Jerry York has to be the greatest coach in the history of BC.

BC wins! 7-1 over top defense in country. Wow!

BC clearly faster than Miami.

Don't hear that too often.

Wow. Blitzed the #1 team in the country by a touchdown.

Win or lose, York is earning a statue.

FUN-DAMENTALS!! Tonight the two best college hockey teams in the nation met, and BC won 7 to 1...Jerry York is the greatest college coach of his sport in the nation. He's the Jerry York of Basketball and Football...and BC alums didn't post diddly on this site...Are we getting this? One Hundred years from now when hockey is way cooler than Manhattan Beach suntans you'll all not be around to dig how cool this win is...I'm a Cali BC guy who plays golf and grills during the Frozen Four-- I ask you: Where are my BC Cold Dudes and Dudettes who chided me for surfing? This is a big deal and now we get to beat down UW and get revenge for Ice Hurt #1 of the Past. ATL, TALK TO THESE PEOPLE AND EDUCATE THEM! GO EAGLES! BEAT 'dem Badgers!!

miami is not one of the top two hockey teams in the country. the CCHA is nowhere near as good as hockey east or the wcha. one of th ebest hockey teams in the country doesn't lose back to back ames to robert morris. one? maybe. two in a row at home? no way.

miami has figured out how to compete in the ccha...but this is the 5th straight year that they have lost to a Boston Hockey East school in the tournament (4th time that it was us). they were a paper tiger all year and their time had come to be exposed.

the two best teams meet on saturday night, not tonight...and wisco is a very solid team that should legitimately scare us. a worthy opponent to say the least.

It is kinda disturbing that the hockey team, scores more points than the football team.

Totally agree on York, he is hands down the best coach BC has ever had and doesn't receive the demi-god status he deserves. One day Conte will bear his name and there will be a bronzed sweater vest in his honor.

North Dakota is seriously dropping the name "Fighting Sioux"???? This would be a tragedy

Ry said...

i think they have to...there was a court ruling or something. fighting sioux or not, they suck

Groundhog said...

no doubt they suck, i'm just tired of the politically correct bullcrap. as a st. john's fan growing up, i had to watch my team get castrated into the "red storm". i feel for the UND fans. they must be practically siouxicidal.

York Arena? York Pavilion? York Forum? York Center? York Centre?

Carson Desrosiers possibly not going to Wake, but we're likely still out anyway. I feel better about Noreen over him regardless.

Great performance last night, Muse made great saves all night to prevent a 7-6 type of game. One to go, time for payback "on Wisconsin"
