Primetime for BC-Notre Dame

As I first said on Twitter, BC-Notre Dame will be a night game. The ESPN/ABC channel is still to be determined.

Finally we get a night game...now all we need is a Thursday night game

Speaking of ND - they will probably get pasted by Stanford next week, and limp into Boston at 1 and 3. Pre-season I was hoping for 4 and 0 or 3 and 1.

Of course it's a "Must Win" anyway - but now it's really a "Must Win". We could beat VT and ND and still get no respect - but can you imagine if we lose?

Gotta win your home games.

What has Blackledge hit up in the past?

Blackledge hit up Camella's last time which was a good choice.

Losing to either VTECH or ND would be awful this year especially

I want to be on record now... I bet VT goes on a tear the rest of the season. Their too solid not too. I greatly fear this weeks game.

Do we know whether Ryan Williams will be playing Saturday? If he doesn't, BC esp. has to win this game. I can't see Taylor doing it all alone and winning.

Nobody seems to know about Williams for sure yet, but the popular opinion appears to be that this week's game isn't worth exacerbating the injury.

From the VTech blog Gobbler Country :

"Don't expect Ryan Williams. I have absolutely no inside information, but I'll be surprised if he plays after the hamstring injury he suffered against ECU. Now that the national title is out of the question, this season becomes a marathon, not a sprint. We don't want the injury to become a nagging one for Williams."

Night game against ND should be a great atmospehere for the plethora of potential recruits we should be hosting that night.

ND did not start their season with games against a Weber State or a Kent State, a team that got hammered by Penn St. 28-0 after playing us.) This week and next week will define the BC Eagles for a long time to come. If our O Line doesn't show up and we can't run the ball or protect the QB, we're toast.
