Blogpoll ballot

Even as undefeated BCS teams lose, I still have trouble moving Boise State up. I kept Oregon No. 1 and went easy on the ACC. I also came away impressed with Nebraska's win on Thursday night.

Games I watched

-- BC-NC State 100%(twice)
-- Nebraska-Kansas State 50%
-- Florida-LSU 25%
-- Auburn-Kentucky 25%
-- Michigan-Michigan State 25%

That's a pretty tough Top 15 - what a playoff we could have this year! Problem is, where would you cut it off? Top 16 is pretty unmanageable, unless they cut the season back to 10 games (that won't happen). Top 8 and you leave out some great teams.

Let's go BC - figure this out. There is no reason why we can't be in the Top 25, and crack the Top 15 every once in awhile.

Just doodling and thinking that now is the time our team needs us the most.

While I am very unhappy with the coaches right now, I will always support the players - as long as they keep trying and don't quit.

I'm not going to quit either.

Let's go BC - start the rebuilding effort this week!!!!!

One more thing and it is high time for me to shut up.

I saw that there was some talk of TCU joining the Big East. That doesn't make any sense. But since realignment of leagues is not over yet, what might make sense is this:

Create the Big ACC - merge the Big East and ACC and capture the entire East Coast and East.

Add teams such as Navy, East Carolina and maybe Army or Cenral Florida. Nortre Dame stays independent, but would be free to play anyone in the Big ACC.

Then you realign the league and have some real fun in football. Let's hear some suggestions for the heck of it. (I know many will be opposed). AD's have to keep their options open and understand what is happening in the "marketplace"..

Basketball would be absurdly great.

We need a football topic in addition to our discussions about rebuilding.

Worth consideration.
