Hockey smashes BU and other links

We scored nine goals against BU. Yes, we scored "niiiine...times." I can't say if this will begin a nice little run for our guys, but it was fun to follow for a night.

Kristen Mewis and Victoria DiMartino were named to the 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru Women's NCAA D1 All-America Team. Unfortunately for the girls their season ended with a loss to Stanford Friday night.

Jack Tabb still claims that BC is still a possibility for him.

On one hand, it was great to see BC roll over BU. On the other hand, the refs were terrible. There was never a flow to the game because of all the penalties called. It wasn't that chippy......can't wait for tonight's game.

Great outcome! Yet the 9 goals don't mean much if we lose tonight and split the weekend. Let's take it tonight to earn head-to-head tie breaker status against Rhett.

Good luck to the basketball team vs UMass. This is a team I hate to lose to. Neither brings a good crowd, but in the TD Garden might be just what the doctor ordered for their fans.

Congrats womens soccer on a great year.

I just wish they didn't schedule the game at the TD Garden for the same night as BC-BU. I'd love to attend both but I can't miss the hockey game. Even an afternoon basketball game would have been better-- would actually have made for an excellent sporting day to have basketball afternoon and hockey at night.

I 100% echo Mike's thoughts and note that Agganis arena is empty tonight, and Conte was empty last night. It strikes me that it would have been VERY easy to swap (we already swapped with Merrimack this year to avoid having a hockey game immediately following the Clemson football game).

I would love to head down to the Garden tonight --- especially given the opportunity to consume a few beers at the game --- but I can't justify giving up a hockey ticket for the best home game of the season.

Someone in the athletic department flat out dropped the ball here. And it sucks.

anyway to get the bball game on tv if you don't have comcast/live in california?

If you're interested in looking to go the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl head here: http://www.kraftbowl.org/, and cast your vote for BC.

Same here. I would have gone to the bball game at the Garden, but am going to the hockey game instead.

Basketball game should be on Direct TV 630, if it is not blacked out in your area.

This means sports bars should have it, even if you don't have Direct TV.

The game is not listed as being on channelsurfing.net

Hockey pounds BU again, 5-2. Great weekend.

Great night with hockey trouncing BU again, another B-ball win and FSU going down. Woulda been great if UConn had gone down too but you cant win 'em all. Hopefully, all the press will draw more attention to Edsall and Miami will steal him. That would be awesome!
