UCF game on national TV and other links

As expected the BC-UCF game will be in prime time on CBS College Sports. This isn't much of a surprise. CBSCS has the rights to Conference USA games and usually jumps at the chance to show a game when a Conference USA team hosts a BCS team. As for carriage, most of you can get CBS College Sports in cable and satellite sports packages.

Philly OL prospect Frank Taylor is expected to commit to BC on Wednesday. Taylor has a good mix of offers from big time programs and academic schools. He seems like a good fit, now let's get some more.

Here is another season preview. It's pretty straight forward. One pattern I have noticed is that no one seems concerned about Harris's recovery.

BC is not the only ACC school struggling to sell tickets.

My wife (also a BC grad) was at the Des Moines airport last night and noticed a guy in a BC track shirt. She went up and introduced herself and it turns out he is a BC coach in town for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Does anyone know who from BC qualified for the track 'ships?

The evaluation by the Orlando Sentinel appears pretty accurate at 69. They make a big point about the offensive line. That appears to be the "key to the season". There were signs of future problems with the loss of AC plus Richman and Claiborne. There were plenty of signs of confusion on blocking assignments. Hopefully, Rogers will bring this under control as well. There is a worry that anything short of "Superman" will mean failure. The ship may be "sinking".

Eagleboston,

Caroline King qualified for the 800m. I'm pretty sure she ran in the semifinals today, not sure how she did though. She won the ACC championship for the 800.

Seriously, "JBQ," should we take you "seriously"

When did you graduate from "YOU CON"?

JBQ, we didn't lose Richman. We lost Lapham to graduation.

Because it just bothers me so much... I'm posting JBQ's comment without the quotation marks.

Ah... much better.
