Rettig impresses at 1st scrimmage

Regardless of the QB, BC's preseason scrimmages have a set pattern. The offense struggles and we assume that the defense is just really good again. So when the offense excels in their first scrimmage, I think it gets everyone's attention.

Everyone raved about Rettig. The feedback said he was accurate and seemed to have a good feel for the new playbook. The offensive line also showed improvement. Supposedly we used a lot of misdirection. If you want some good recaps, check out BCHysteria and Eric Hoffses.

I became a Rogers fan when I say him transform Joe Webb (an undrafted rookie option qb) from a wide receiver to the qb that thrashed the Philly Eagles last year. That's great coaching!!

Larmond also apparently had a few big catches, and Andre Williams scored on a 20-yard TD run.

Can't wait to see the new look offense.

Early returns are encouraging.

several sources have Richman playing tackle. Changed?

I attended the scrimmage. Richman is the left gaurd, even though he sat out most of the scrimmage. The team looked great. If Rettig is healthy, they'll be better than last year and win at least eight games. They looked strong and deep at every position. They were very well coached.
