I've been preaching for years that I'd rather play a BCS AQ team and lose than play a MAC team. I gotta stand by it. Maybe Northwestern will turn out to have a good season. Since we're not making the BCS National Title Game, what matters most is our ACC Record and being .500 to be bowl eligible.

Let's hope we can move forward strongly this week.

Erik -- I agree. I think this was a good game to immediately show BC what is lacking, what is working and giving the team a chance to adjust.

While I think we should have won, at least could have won, this game was a good smash in the face to BC football that should pay dividends this season.

Same deal for next week. Another tough opponent ... team should be running scared this week and really practicing hard, including all the little things messed up in game 1 . .. more seasoning for a young team.

I hope we get that seasoning, but also do not fall into a 0-2 hole. It is never easy with BC football!

I love this picture. Why can't Spaz show this kind of enthusiasm on the sidelines?

JBQ said...

Agreed! Spaziani has all the tools. He lacks in enthusiasm.

Spaz was animated as i've seen him the past weekend on the sideline.

he needs to get the towel back and find his swag.

Agree 100%, Spaz definitely needs the towel back.

We lose to UCF and everybody should start sending Spaz towels to bring back the MoJo.

Lenny: That would be the greatest campaign ever.
