Although I questioned Addazio's need for a third QB in this class, it doesn't mean I am not happy for our latest commitment Ohio QB James Walsh. He fits the much discussed dual threat mold that our new coach has been looking for. Walsh previously committed to Ohio. I don't think he is a program changer, but at this point he is low-risk hedge. The only downside to taking him is the chance that one or more of our other QBs leave. I hope they don't. They should at least see if Addazio is true to his word and plays the best guy and not just the system QB.
The Women's Ice Hockey team crushed UConn.
2014 recruit Justin Neslon liked his visit to BC. 2014 recruit Thadd Smith also enjoyed his visit.
We haven't taken a JUCO player in a few years, so it is surprising to see our interest in Marvin Fan Fan. He's a Tight End but could probably play in a few other positions too.

New QB and the good news of the weekend

Hope all QBs can play. If there is one need for a bowl team it's efficient play from the QB. 2. One has to salute the excellent play of Matt Ryan. He faced the # three and four defenses in the league in the playoffs and averaged almost 30 points a game. S. F. the likely champ, gave up 200 yards passing a game. Ryan threw for almost 400. If the Falcons can upgrade the D they'll be in the title hunt for the next 7 years. Shaun King on NBC said Ryan gets rid of the ball quicker than anyone in the league.slowat
i'm not sure what the worry is about the dual threat stuff -- this kid clearly can throw, but he's fast and can run too. i don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. the game is evolving, its good we keep up with the times.
James Walsh will give us something BC hasn't seen very often; i.e., a left-handed quarterback.
There are a whole series of considerations which go into a southpaw. It will be interesting to see if there will be route and blocking adjustments.
Daz will have an opportunity to demonstrate that he can design an offense around his talent.
