National attention for Women's Hockey

The dominance of the Women's Hockey team is starting to gain national attention. On the eve of their Frozen Four, ESPN posted a long article on the team. BC is 0-5 in Frozen Fours and all the remaining teams are tough. It starts with their game against Clarkson on Friday.

If they win the championship, they would only be the second women's team to go undefeated.

i sit there and watch the tournament and 3 comments about why bc has no excuse regarding basketball:

1) every single one of those yale players would die to be a bench player at BC (meanwhile they are better than any player we have)

2) if arkansas little rock can get a win in the tournament, why cant boston college even be .500

3) ed cooley wanted to come to bc, and he was an assistant coach at bc. we promoted spaziani, why not just bring cooley back?

Little Rock has some good wins this year (beat SDSU on the road). And why would Cooley want to go back to BC? He built a successful program for Providence, but it would take years to turn things around for BC.

They may be gaining national attention, but not the attention of this comment section apparently

And isn't that sad, Fake?

I think they have the right mindset, and am hopeful they'll go all the way, though it's a tough road for sure. Go Eagles!

Nice little comeback for the girls.

An oasis perchance in the middle of the BC sports desert?

I didn't even knew women played college hockey before I got to BC. Then again, Atlanta has lost two NHL teams, so there's that.

Congrats.
