Coverage Map and Game Watch Info: BC-Florida State

For those of you wondering if you'll get the game Saturday, here is the coverage map. If you live in Big XII or Pac 10 country you'll be seeing other games.

If you are not getting the game locally, you can probably get it your local sports bar or order ESPN Gameplan. The best bet is a BC game watch!

Here are the list of game watches. Send me emails or post in the comments any I have missed.

Crap, I'm 30 miles away from getting the game. I have a dinner engagement so I was hoping to tape the game. This will be the first game I will not see. Will this be on ESPN 360?

I'm VERY nervous about this game. I think Va Tech exposed our offensive line, but I'm hoping that was merely a function of big guys and monsoon conditions not mixing well. I'm also concerned about the big, physical receivers for FSU.

On the positive side, Florida State is not any better than the team we beat by 8 points on the road last year. If anything, we are better and Matt Ryan is playing with 2 good legs.

Weather could be a factor and it may hurt our passing game again. Here is the forecast from weather.com: Showers in the morning, becoming a steady rain in the afternoon. Windy. High near 50F. Winds NNE at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Higher wind gusts possible.

I wanted it to be about 20 degrees colder.

1) Does the green on that map indicate heavy rain? it might as well.

2) I HATE SONNY'S. What a miserable place to watch a game. LA Alumni need to find a new place, a place that actually wants us there.

I watch the game at Pacific Beach Bar and Grill .... I am usually the only one there though

I haven't contacted the BC alum SD chapter though they did have a game watch for the Notre Dame Game.

I was gonna say PB Bar and Grill is a good spot to watch games in San Diego when they aren't on regular tv. The best place in town used to be SportsCity in La Jolla but I think its closed. You could even go there for Beanpot games. Unfortunately I will be out of town. Maybe not as unfortunate as also having tickets and not being able to use them.

Is there a game watch in Toronto?

Is there a game watch anywhere in New Orleans? Any time I've gone to a bar I'm usually the only BC fan there among hordes of LSU and Bama fans.

Lex, I usually go to Cooter Brown's at the riverbend when I watch, but with it being on network, I may be at home with the kids. But yes, I know the weight of watching around LSU fans.

As a San Diego resident, think about hitting up someplace like Trophy's or even Seau's. There's also Oggie's or McGregor's as well. Going to an actual bar (like PB Bar & Grill) to watch on the other hand, might not be such a good idea. Way too many people who have 0 interest in BC.

it sounds like we have a decent group of Eagles in SD, I think we should try to get something legit going in the future. maybe get one of the back rooms at Trophy's or something.
or kick the ND club out of hennesseys downtown and take that place over.

There are a few of us in Columbia, SC. At the Georgia Tech game I met the BC family that owns and operates the

Publick House
307 Devine Street
Columbia, SC 29205
(803) 256-2207

Perhaps that would be a good meeting spot.

love the san diego representation. I'm still at bc doing my mba (a&s '04, mba '09) but I graduated from la jolla country day. Seau's will probably have the BC game on but the Pac 10 game will have the main stage

Any doubt that BC is a national institution?

Bill, great idea to post the gamewatch lists! Keep them coming as they're invaluable for people who have just moved or are traveling...

Game watch in Toronto is usually my couch, although it would be pretty cool to get together with other BC fans to watch
