New York Times finally previews BC

The New York Times' excellent college football countdown finally got to BC. They have us at No. 46. Unlike many preseason takes on the team, this preview is on the mark. The writer Paul Myerberg hit all the high points of the upcoming season without glaring errors or misconceptions about the team. To be honest, his "season breakdown, prediction, nightmares and dreams" are pretty close to what I'll post in August.

I'm going with this from the New York Times article - "As a matter of fact, one can easily make the case that, if Crane can serve as a capable replacement, B.C. is still very much in the running for the division title."

Go BC

i disagree with his low point...losing to fsu at home was definitely a morale killer, evidenced by the let down the next week at MD. We beat FSU I truly believe we eventually play for the championship...the real one....

Laeagle I agree with you... That FSU loss was so painful. I was at the Maryland game and you could physically see the letdown on the players faces (except Ryan who was going from person to person, trying to snap them out of it). Here's hoping Crane has got some skills and the passing defense holds up.

Cool pitch for Eagle in Atlanta at the end of that. Is that the first time you've been in the Times?
