Building on the Heisman hype

When he came out of the Syracuse game with his shoulder injury, most of us realized that Andre would not win the Heisman. However, it was still very important to get him to ceremony in New York. Getting Andre to New York wasn't just a chance to recognize his great performance, it was also an unmatched opportunity for Addazio to sell the program. Just watch his interview this interview with CBS Sports. It starts with Andre but gets into the first year, BC's offense, the bowl and playing Florida State. Even their hosts say this is all an infomercial for BC.

Great video.
I loved it when he said "we are going to line up with 2, 3, 4 tight ends and we are going to roll."
Very well spoken guy. Representing the program in ways that no head coach has for quite some time. It is impossible to even imagine Spaz on the set of that show.

Here's the deal - As many of us as possible have to get to Shreveport to support our team, and to support Andre. Arizona will be gunning for him like Southern Cal and Syracuse.

More on this over the next couple of days, but New Year's Eve in Shreveport could be quite fun with the BC crowd!!!!

Go Eagles.

Addazio deserves a raise.

Hate be a what-if bitch here but ESPN has Andre second in the Heisman standings. If the bozo RB;s from Arizona and Auburn were not included the math would add up to an Andre win.

Still awesome that he is a finalist. I would like to see the University get the O-Line seats in the crowd. It would be a total goof to see those overeducated animals get their 15 seconds of fame.

I expect K.Herbstreit to give Andre some serious praise during the Heisman show.

BJK - can't make the game but I just bought 5 donation tickets. Anyone that can't go should buy one or more. It will help us in future years if we can sell those tickets. #GOBC

I'm hoping to work things out and get to the game and will buy tickets anyway.

Good posts, Jampino and Dixie.

In addition to our own, I'm now reminded to purchase extra donation tickets as well.

Go BC.

Great interview. I love this guy. I can definitely see him being really persuasive with the recruits we need to rebuild our program.
