I got home during the second period turned on the TV and was pleasantly surprised to see BC 5, ND 0. After the sixth goal, the game was over. Too bad North Dakota added their 1 goal to ruin Muse's potential shutout.
After watching the parts I missed back, it was really just a perfect game. Muse played well early, the offense took advantage of every opportunity and Gerbe was Gerbe. If they play half this well Saturday, we'll walk away with another championship.

I gotta say, if Notre Dame keeps playing like they have been for 1 & 1/2 periods - they are a scary team as well.
The Eagles need to show up with their game faces on, no matter the opponent. The Fighting Irish absolutely have nothing to lose. And Michigan is Number 1.

Agreed. If Gerbe can keep it up for one more game, it's ours no matter who we play. Muse had a few great saves, and kept his composure during those first two pk's, when ND was really bringing on an onslaught. Coming out swinging like we did tonight took all the air out of Lamoureux's aura and gave us such confidence that the game was over before anyone could settle down. No matter which team we play, we've got to bring the game to them, keeping it in their zone, and using our speed and passing as much as possible. We're not going to outmuscle either ND or Michigan, but if we follow at least the same gameplan we had tonight, instead of the play not to lose like we did against Miami early on (sorry for the cliche), we should wrap this fantastic run up. A lot of ifs, but I'm more confident in this squad now than I've been all season. GO EAGLES!!!!

We know from last year what happens with excessive expectations (MSU)...
but with that said, I would much rather play ND than a supremely talented Michigan squad.

BC v ND should be fun. We need to beat ND soundly!! Playing it close has not worked for BC in the last two finals!I actually got close to cheering for ND! Hope that never happens again!!
