Rice's summer
Here are some pics of Tyrese from Vegas courtesy of reader Mark. Rice is playing well, but is still not a sure thing to make the Wizards.

Tyrese looks better without that STUPID headband.
I liked the headband. I loved when the entire team wore headbands for NCAAs in 2006.
ClassO10 - I guess you can tell that I'm an old foagie. I always thought that headbands were for players with long hair to prevent the sweat from dripping down their face - rather than some fashion statement.
Headbands look okay when the team is winning - after a while they statrt to look a little doofus.
I actually have a shaved head and it really helps wearing a headband when I do anything athletic. With no hair to soak up any sweat, it drips right down my face and sometimes in my eye.
I like them for style too, but I think they can help a player keep sweat out of his eyes, face, and hands.
