A glimpse into how BC is selling the program to recruits

We all love BC, but how do you convince a high school prospect that it is the right program for him? Below is a recruiting video the Football program put together to sell our history, sell Boston, sell Addazio and sell the opportunity to get to the NFL. It's a solid package and should be what we emphasize. While short on recent highlights, all Addazio needs to say to kids is that just means more opportunity for you to play and contribute to BC's history of excellence.

Loved this! Given the "recent unpleasantness", it is easy to forget what an impressive football history BC has. Oh for the years when we regularly whupped Notre Dame - and most of the rest of our opponents - with players like Ryan, Herzy, and Raji.

I am so ready to get back to the days when "Ever to Excel" meant something. Let's hope we're on the right track, at least.

Put me in coach. Well done. My fear is that one of these replays, the left footed Jewish kid will miss the field goal and Phelan will drop the ball. Richie Gunnell telling off the ND qb should be another highlight. The king is dead. Long live the king.

That was excellent. Reminds me what it felt like to feel real pride in my team. Ugh, also makes me realize how much damage was done over the past few years.

Actually looking forward to this coming season, at least there will be a chance we will start to move in the right direction.

I feel like those "Never Forget" sentiments seems appropriate here.

Loved to video showing BC's great accomplishments and exciting play

Well, it was a bit long, and I think they should edit out Bates and Dazzler - when they accomplish something at BC they can be in the next video.

Boy, that got the juices flowing. Shows the importance of a spirited sports program to any university. Hope this is just the start of BC's return. No sense in dwelling, as I did in a previous post, on the sad state of BC athletics but to cheer on our renewed commitment to excellence. First step next year be win at least 6 games, have Adazio show he can recruit, and bring respectability back to BC football. Until proven otherwise I'm on board for the return!
