Josh Harris WF's top back is ineligible. If so that is big news for BC and increases their chances of victory against the Deacons. That contest may be pivotal. Put that in the win column and the Eagles should be no worse than three and two ( Vill. and Army at home). If you can win two of three vs. NMST. NCST. and VT. ( two of those are at home) then you are up to five with the Terps and the Bernie Fines left. A bowl is not an impossibility. The only unwinnable game is at Clemson. Boyd and Co. are too good. LSU had 8 or 9 players drafted by the NFL all from their defense. Yet Clemson ran over them in the bowl game.

It has to be commented on about the sale of the Boston Globe as stated by the NY Times. The Times bought the Globe for 1.1 billion and the owner of the Red Sox paid this week only 70 million. That should free a lot of money for paying a beat writer for BC.

Could you explain the financial idea of how money gets freed up? The Times is gone. Henry is out $70mil. so, from whence the $$ for a BC beat writer?

@Joseph: Henry paid a "pea in a pea pod" for the paper. He should make an instant profit.

Wonder who Big Al was recruiting in Chickasaw, Ohio.

Instant profit from what revenue? Of course, he is likely to make a profit at some point, for sure, not really. Unless you know more about the p&L statement, then all it is is guessing.
