In-game comments post: Syracuse

This season has gone by fast. That tends to happen when things are going well. But Heismans and better bowls won't happen if we don't beat Syracuse. Let's hope the guys are ready! Leave your thoughts and comments below.

Unfortunately, Walt, it does kick in, because had we been 5-3 in the ACC, vice 4-4, both Pitt and Maryland would have taken an automatic backseat to us. Plus, 'Cuse would have been sharpening their snow shovels for a brutal New York winter. Instead, all 3 teams can bypass us, if the Media gods decree it.
You're correct about the revenue, though, so if all 11 ACC Bowl eligible teams make it, I'll be glad because that's more money for us, too. My personal hope is for the Military Bowl, a day drive for me, and probably the best BC showing we can get.

Once again, BJK says it right. Eagleboston is right behind. I support every one of their comments. Clock management was terrible. The idea about wanting to get in a fistfight is darn well apropos. The game mattered and there were those on the sideline, non players, who did not do their best and managed like it was the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Sad day in Boston. The only day sadder may have been when Holy Cross, ESPN upset number seven, beat BC 55-12 and actually literally saved their lives. Coconut Grove burned down where their victory celebration was to be held. I guess that it was a positive that nobody died at Syracuse but the feeling is about the same. Obviously with 200 comments, there are those with the passion to scream "not good enough" and do it right or "pack your bags" and leave for the Gulag.
