Thursday night BC takes on Union in the first semi-final of the Frozen Four. To get up to speed on the matchup, I suggest the following:

When it rains, it pours.
When York retires, we need to hire the Union coach. He has beaten Goliath 2 years in a row! He's making BC look mortal.
He's on the opposite end of the spectrum philosophically though. The entire Union team is composed of 23 and 24 year olds who played junior hockey. BC has one of the youngest teams every year.
BC looked sloppy. Union deserved it.
We've been spoiled. BC is very young, and still made it to the Frozen Four. They'll be back next year, more experienced. Now we all need to pray that Johnny Gaudreau listens to his mom and comes back for his senior year.
It wasn't our night. Too bad.
However, the heart that the team showed in the final seconds was amazing. They absolutely never gave up, and actually got a good shot on net in only 4.2 seconds. You can't win every game, but you can give your all in every game. That kind of effort makes being a BC fan easy.
Thank you to the coaches and players for another fantastic year.
