Earlier today the ACC announced the Virginia Tech game will be a 12:30PM kickoff. TV coverage will be a "split network" with the UNC/Miami game which means check your local listings in the week leading up to the game, especially if you don't live in the New England market.
Over the weekend, the men's hockey team picked up their first victory of the young season with a 6-2 win at RIT.
The Portland Press Herald had a nice write-up on Quinton Porter yesterday. Nice to read up on what he's been up to since his days at BC.

They loved Porter in Portland, ME. I can recall a couple of times coming back from summer holiday in Canada, taking the old Scotia Prince ferry from Yarmouth, NS to Portland ME. I would drive off and wait in the line, pull up to the US Customs inspection team driving my vehicle with the "BC Eagle" plates. The customs person would see the plates and ask about howe Porter was doing at BC. I tell them some details of the prior season and mention our opes for this year.
My knowing who Porter was seemed to speed my passage thereafter. They love their Porter in Portland.
He started out well in hamilton; but got replaced by a "more mobile" quarterback.
Good luck to him.
Fondest memory of Quinton Porter is the 1st quarter at Penn State in 2003. In front of 100,000 PSU fans, he threw for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter alone as BC jumped out to a 24-0 lead, ultimately winning 27-14.
He also led BC to a win over Notre Dame that year, throwing for 199 yards and one TD, and rushing for another TD.
