ACC to create replay command center

The ACC is going to follow the NFL and create a central command center to handle all replays. Decisions will no longer be made at the stadium. While I don't think this will save BC from the occasional bad call, I do appreciate the consistency the new system should bring.

I think replay is a good idea, but there needs to be a time limit, say 1 minute. If it's not an obvious error then play on. The games take too dam long.

One reason I enjoy college football yet could not be paid to watch an NFL game is that college has thrived absent centralized control. Let the officials call the game. If an undefeated FSU gets a close call against a winless BC at the end of the season, I don't want John Swofford in a windowless room calculating how much the ACC would get if FSU wins and makes the CFB playoff.
OK, I'll take off my tin foil hat now.

Went to my first rugby game last week. Wow! The game actually concluded within the scheduled 80 minutes. I love CFB, but a 60 minute game shouldn't take 3 friggin' hours!

Fire

They're more like 3.5 to 4 hrs. Probably the only game under 3 last year was ours against Howard!
