As a quick reminder, Brown brought the "dude" term with him to BC. But Addazio really embraced it and splashed it all over social media. It then went viral and got plenty of attention from the College Sports media. There was less dude talk this year with Brown gone, but you could still see it sprinkled into BC coverage. Now that Brown is out there using it again, I bet Addazio will stop talking about it. Not out of hurt feelings, but probably based on his desire to create his own BC brand. You saw that a bit during Signing Day when BC had recruits tweet "#decidetofly."
Using "dude" doesn't win games. Getting dudes to come to your program does. I don't care if Addazio uses "dude" anymore. Just do what the kids like and get some good players this spring!

ATL, is this the best post you could come up with on a Sunday morning? Really, sir.
Don Brown is sorely missed and kept the sinking ship afloat. In order to have a good defense, you have to be able to recruit. Brown can really do it. Addazio can't. Milano and Johnson will be greatly missed. Landry can't carry the team by himself. A good offense will just run the other way and leave him stranded.
GE. You really are becoming like Knucklehead.
C'mon, Mod. This post was useless dribble.
Evander Berry Wall - known as the "king of the Dudes" died in 1940. He ascribed his longevity to the fact that he never saw physicians and always drank champagne instead of water, claiming that "There are more old drunkards than there are old doctors." He died nearly broke after having "squandered nearly every cent on pleasure."
You can tell there's not much football news when people start talking about dudes and old drunkards.
Next season Don will be saluting the dude of the day as HC of BC.
Thank you for the news!
